ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. Mission to Executives 2025
The Religious Liberty and Public Affairs Department (ENF) is hosting a mission to executives from February 16 to 22, 2025, at Radisson Blu, Upperhill, Nairobi, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Executive church members are invited to attend and sponsor their friends, with a participation cost of Ksh 4,500 per day.
2. Church Membership Transfers
Members wishing to transfer in or out of the church should contact the Church Clerk, providing their full name and the name of the church they are transferring from.
3. Family Life Week of Prayer
The Family Life Week of Prayer will begin on Sunday, February 2nd, and will be held online from 8:00 PM to 8:50 PM daily, culminating in a physical gathering on Sabbath, February 8th.
The guest speaker is Elder Omandi, a psychologist and counselor from Hope Channel. Members are encouraged to prepare for insightful teachings from the comfort of their homes.
4. Elders Retreat
The Elders Retreat has been rescheduled to February 2nd, 2025.
5. Stewardship Week of Prayer
The Stewardship Week of Prayer will take place in March, with dates to be communicated.
6. Appeal for Donations
The Chaplaincy Department will visit Grace Children’s Home in Kayole on February 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
Members are encouraged to donate food, clothes, books, shoes, and bedding. Donations can be given to the church caretaker or Beverline Mayaka at Mwananchi Road Shopping Center.
7. ENF Fundraiser
The church has been assigned a fundraising goal of Ksh 120,000 to support ENF in completing the church office building.
Each member is encouraged to contribute at least Ksh 1,000.
8. Church Board Meeting
The Church Board Meeting has been rescheduled to February 9, 2025.
9. Appeal for Medical Fund
Support is needed for Cynthia Owuor’s medical fund as she undergoes treatment for breast cancer. She is the late Elder Ken Owuor’s wife from Syokimau East SDA Church.
Members are encouraged to join the Medical Fund WhatsApp group through the link shared in the church’s WhatsApp group.
10. Welfare Registration
All members are reminded to complete their welfare registration forms and pay Ksh 1,000 for registration and Ksh 500 for January.
